Daddy I want to read Rod & Custom

Jake loves to get into things he isn't supposed to have. Especially newspapers. He likes to stand next to the foot rest that goes with our furniture down stairs. As you can see he was able to reach far enought to get daddy's magazine.

A Busy Boy

Jake continues to be a busy boy. He has mastered the art of rolling around the house and just today decided he can scoot a little. I'm sure he will be crawling soon but just can't get the hang of it. He likes to be daddy's little helper and help load the dish washer (the spoon we gave him was clean). We also found out last weekend that he is very scared of the vaccum cleaner. The middle picture show you how mad he was. It is interesting how something that never bothered him before could make him so mad. They vaccum every day at daycare. Monday after we took this picture we picked him up at daycare and Angel told us he is now scared of it there too. Guess Jake will just have to go over to Grandmas when mom is cleaning.

A Busy Weekend

We had a busy weekend at our house. Saturday we Jake saw all of his grandparents and great grandma Jake. Grandma made Cheese cake so we had our own mini valentines party. Grandma Marlene stayed with Jake so mommy and daddy could go out to supper for valentines day and do a little shopping. Sunday we got up and went to church and then headed to Hurley for cousin Isabelle's baptism. It was great to share this moment with her. Daddy is one of her god parents along with uncle Jeremy and Dan's sister Amanda. Jake had a great time playing with everyone. He has been a little crabby this past week. We think he is still working on those teeth. He has also had a cold. We went to the doctor Thursday and are thankful we don't have RSV. Their are actually 3 cases of RSV in his room at daycare, one poor little boy was even hospitalized. We hope his friends will be feeling much better very soon and will be back to play. I will attache a few pictures from the baptism and a few video's we took this week. Jake really wants to crawl but just can't get it. He is starting to get frustrated that he can't quite crawl yet.

Jake and Daddy Day

Jake and Daddy had a day all to themselves on Saturday. They went to a product show in

Sioux Falls. Jake is showing off the wrenches that he got from a nice man. They also did a little of mommy's shopping that was very nice of them. Mom was able to stay home and scrapbook with Amber. We had a great time at home in peace.

Clean Boy

Jake has learned to sit up really good now. Good enough that hs can sit up in the tub finally. Maybe he will start enjoying bath time now. He still really hates to take a bath. Daddy and Mommy both had dentist appointment this week. They gave daddy this nice tooth brush for Jake too. Uncle Doug and Aunt Liz you will be proud to hear we started brushing his two teeth!
