Our Trip to the Turner County Fair

We went to the fair on Tuesday night. Jake was scared enough of the animals that he wanted to stay in his stroller. You can see him playing in the huge sand box. Definatly his favorite thing. Checking out the lambs "don't let them get my popcorn daddy." And sharing dad's root beer float. We didn't brave the rides and Jaks is pretty scared of things like that still. Maybe next year.

A quiet weekend at home.... With pleny of chores to do.

We didn't really go anywhere this weekend but we did plenty of work around the house. And Jake sure is a helper. Looks like he really enjoyed helping daddy wash the pickup and did a fine job of driving his bike over the trees daddy trimmed. His favorite part of the tree triming project was definatly taking the trees to the dump. Who knew that all you needed to keep busy at your picinic table was a tractor and a stick. The weater was great this weekend and as you can see we really enjoyed being outside.

Threshing Show

Jake, Grandpa and Daddy have made a couple of trips to the Threshing Show this weekend. Jake loves to look at tractors. Last night they watched part of the tractor pull and this afternoon some kind of hot rod pull. The highlight for Jake is always this huge sand box they have. It is very hot outside but it was nice that they were able to got for a while.
