Happy Mother's Day

We had a fun Mothers Day! We ate lunch with Grandma and Grandpa (or Justin and I at and Jake didn't eat anything). Had a quick afternoon nap and headed to the Butterfuly house. Jake didn't really care for the butterfly's and really didn't like when they flew directly at him. He did like the fish they had. We had a great day playing together. Too bad it was too cold to play outside for very long. The bottom picture is the pot and plant he made at school. He did a nice job of painting the pot for me.

We Braved the COLD for the Race Against Breast Cancer

Jake and Ellie were troopers and went on a three mile walk for the Race Against Breast Cancer. It was a chillie morning (39 degrees when we left home) but they did good. The walk wasn't too bad for the few minutes the sun was shining. We also had a fun time playing will all of our cousins after the walk.

Happy May Day!

We haven't been up to much lately except playing outside. This weekend we made and delivered May baskets. It's Jake's second May Day but he was definatly too young last year. He enjoyed coloring the plates and putting on a few stickers. He liked the idea of giving them away but really didn't want to give away the treats that we put in the basket all in all it was a fun day.
I should explain the big scratch on his nose. Tuesday I picked him up from daycare an his note said "threw a cardboard box in the air today and it hit him in the nose" I'm assuming a kleenex box. When I told his teacher Wednesday morning I looked at his note and all I could do was laugh she said well after the first time of getting hurt he tried to do it again. Only our wild little boy.
