Playin in my sand box

Jake has a good time playing in his sand box this morning. It was a little cool out but luckily not too cool to be outside. Played by himself for at least a half hour we were proud of him. He was really dirty and hasn't quite learned not to eat the sand and that the sand needs to stay in the sand box. I guess we will work on that when he gets a little older.
Last weekend Jake and I went to Denver with my parents. We drove to Omaha and flew to Denver from there. Jake did very good on both the flight and the car rides. He is such a good boy. We had a great time hanging out with my sister. We were able to watch her ref at Roller Derby on Saturday night. It was a great bout and the Denver Rolls won. Andrea ran a triathalon on Sunday morning. She did an awesome job at the triathaon finishing 70th out of 270. We had a great time traveling but don't think we will do it again soon. Daddy got some uninterupted time to work on the 66 Ford. Maybe that project will get done some day :)

Me and My buddie Louie. He really didn't like me playing with his house

Go Denver Roller Dolls!!!

Swim, Bike, Run

Watching my Auntie at the Triathalon.l Check out my T-Shirt mommy made it. It says I love my aunt.

We're home safe and sound now I want to play with the suitcase before you put it away mommy

Grandpa's little helper

So you already knew that Jake was Grandpa's little helper. He is pictured here helping grandpa put the carpet back in our closet. Our air conditioner got clogged last week and soaked our carpet so we pulled it up as much as we could to get the carpet to dry out.

No More PACI

It's officially been a week and Jake hasn't had a paci. Last Friday night he was teething horribly and refused his paci so we took them all away. I need to do some cleaning and round them all up. I am sooo excites as he was a such a paci boy I never thought we would be able to take it away from him.

Playin

Jake can play by himself if he wants to. He did take all the magnetic letters that he could reach off the frige and put them in my sewing tote. I'll have to make sure and get them all out before I go to quilt block of the month again. He is such a silly boy.

Mr. Piggy

Jake loves to be an independent little boy sometimes. He had to eat by himself the other night. He was having leftovers and make a total mess. He was having refried beans and cottage cheese for sure. Not sure what else we found for him but yes he was eating refried beans one of his favorites with his hands rather than a spoon. Needless to say he got a bath right after supper and put his pj's on too.

Swimming Jake Style at Home

You can see Jake's idea of swimming in his pool at home. Sitting on mommy. Playing with the bucket on his head etc. He never really got in the water even though daddy filled the pool with warm water form the bath tub. He did play with his toys and dump the water out of the pool. We are still working on the liking water situation. I didn't force him in the pool this day so he never got in.

Jordan's Birthday Party

A couple weeks ago we were able to go to Kuehn park for Jordan's Birthday party. Jordans parents are Lowell and Tamara (Sinning) Blankers. We had a great time. We didn't get a picture with Jordan as he wasn't up for it. Maybe next time. Jake was ok with the water that day and really enjoyed watching the other kids. In the middle picuture he is with Brady and Noah their mom and dad are Matt and Amber (Burma) Larson. What a fun time playing with my friends.
